I think that, since I'm doing NaNoWriMo, and seem to have little interest in getting house stuff done, I'm going to go with a bit of a formula for the rest of the month, maybe into December as well, depending on how busy I am.
Mondays=stir fry: this week, a slow cooker version (yeah, I know stir fry and slow cooker don't seem to go together) that uses beef and the frozen stir fry veggie mix we use all the time.
Tuesdays=fancy sandwiches: I may just do the ham and mozza sandwiches I did last week, as they were really good; if I don't get out to get some good bread, I may just do the oven citrus chicken, sweet potatoes, and snap peas I had planned for last week
Wednesdays=fish sticks, with mac and cheese and peas; it's been our standard Wednesday meal for a while
Thursdays=new recipe: since Thursday isn't the busiest day, I'll try something different; I haven't quite decided yet, but it'll probably be from Nigella Express which I bought last week, pasta, maybe
Fridays=fast food Friday (at home): this will be straight from the freezer, hamburgers, pizza, lasagna, raviolis...I'll see what we feel like by then
Saturdays=dinner at my parents'
Sundays=slow cooker: this will be a beef ragout I made before, with mashed potatoes and broccoli
As usual, check out I'm an Organizing Junkie for other menus...hey, add your own, why not, it's fun!
what a delicious meal plan this week!! Have a wonderful Monday.

I hear ya about lacking interest in house stuff when writing! I have that problem alot these days it seems lol.
I pick a day to completely focus on the house stuff/menu plan/grocery and then the focus can be on writing, writing, writing! :)
Good luck!
