Okay, I'm pretty sure a loss should be showing up in a day or two. I haven't weighed myself at all this week, but I was definitely much better.
I made a little Healthy Journal sheet that I like a lot, much better than the tracker things I used to get from You Know Where. My sheet has date, cycle day (I'm trying to look at hormonal changes and their effect on my eating, cravings, emotions, etc.), a place to check off water, fruit and veggie consumption, steps on my pedometer (I couldn't find my pedometer, then I found it, then I forgot to wear it all day each time I put it on, then the little back up clip broke...but I've not given up!), a reminder that I'm not drinking any high cal Starbucks or eating baking, then a chart with a place to plan what I'm going to eat, with points worked out, and next to it a chart for my actual consumption. It takes a full 8 1/2 by 11 page, but my writing is on the big side, and I hate trying to squish my journalling onto a little page. I also put a place to note what was easy/hard (like if I had cravings for some food, or if it was easy to bypass the coffee place because I don't always need to go there like I think I do). My next step is to put the tools for living on the back of the page and do a little work with them on a regular basis, think about and re-work some of my patterns and habits that are less helpful to me.
And, after all that, I only stayed the same. I'm sure my jeans were not fitting as close this week as last, and I know that I didn't track as completely accurately as I could (I never do), but I was better, and I feel better that I actually tracked and planned my meals.
Next week: no sushi night before weigh in, especially on a week that I get my period! I'm not going to let myself get demoralized and start cramming the food in. And, maybe, by lunch time when I do my WW weigh in, things will look at little better.
Oh, I am so with you this week. It's killing me waiting for this to be over with. Men have it so easy.

What a wonderful tracking system you have. I really need to write some things down to be more accountable. :) Keep up the great work!

Wow, you are doing great! Love your health journal idea. Your pedometer story cracked me up. You would think there are little anti-walking gremlins sabotaging your every move! LOL Way to make healthy choices!

Your journal page sounds great, and if it's something you like, it's something you'll likely keep up!! Good thinking!
